Preparation includes fasting 8-10 hours before the test (light non-fat meal 8-10 hours before) and not beverages such as tea or coffee. It is good from the previous day to avoid foods with cellulose such as greens, legumes, vegetables and fruits, as well as dairy (milk, yogurt). Feel free to eat meat, fish, chicken, pasta. If we have a lower abdomen examination (with water) we should strictly stop the water at least half an hour before so that the stomach is not full and prevents the examination.

(KIDNEY, URINARY, CYSTE, PROSTATE, PELY)

To control the lower abdomen it is necessary for the bladder to be relatively full (to have some tendency to urinate but not too much so that we can hold and withstand the mild pressure in the area). For this purpose, two hours before the test you should urinate for the last time and then drink 4-6 glasses of water, gradually over an hour and the last at least half an hour before the test. Avoid urinating again until the time of the test. Adjust the above times accordingly to your own data, e.g. if you have frequent or decreased urination. It is important to be well hydrated (plenty of fluids) from the day before and not dehydrated because your bladder will be harder to fill if you drink water only in the last hour especially when it is very hot (summer months).

The 7th-10th day after the onset of menstruation is the ideal day to perform the test.

No preparation is required. The bladder should be empty otherwise you should urinate immediately before the examination. It is preferred not to take place during menstruation and ideally it should be done on the 7th-10th day from the beginning of menstruation.

TRIPLEX OF ARTERIES / VEINS LOWER

You come to the exam relaxed, without having walked long distances before the exam and with good hydration. You will be asked to release your legs completely (pants, shoes, socks) to be examined from the root to the ankles. For this purpose, make sure you wear appropriate clothing. In the examination of veins if you wear a skirt it will also need to come out if you are examined in an upright position because it will block.
